What to do.

  1. Wash your hands with antibacterial soap (Gold Dial or Hibiclens preferred).

  2. Remove bandage from tattoo and wash tattoo thoroughly with an antibacterial soap.
Use bare hands, not a cloth or towel.

  4. Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor (Too much is worse than too little).

  5. Repeat the cleaning process 3 times a day (Morning, Afternoon, Evening).

  6. After the 3rd day you may switch to an unscented lotion, use until fully healed.

  • Do not submerge your tattoo (showers are fine).

  • Do not expose your tattoo to direct sunlight while healing.

  • Do not let animals… or people… touch or lick your tattoo. *sigh*
